Contract Managers apply for accreditation from The Institution of Occupational Safety
Over the coming months, our Contract Managers will be applying for accreditation from The Institution of Occupational Safety (IOSH). This involves undertaking a series of training, exams and assessments in order to qualify to join the institute. IOSH is a chartered body for health and safety professionals, with members worldwide.
By achieving the requirements necessary to join IOSH, Contract Managers will benefit from access to resources and support, assisting them in the continued development and implementation of safe procedures and policies at QHS.
Our Contract Managers are responsible for the day-to-day management of the gas engineers. This involves ensuring that the engineers carry out works to the highest level of safety, monitoring their performance and ensuring that the quality of their work is high and at a consistent standard.
We hope that IOSH membership will provide an additional tool to assist Contract Managers with their day-to-day responsibilities.
