QHS have long been Approved NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting) Contractors and Installers. This scheme is for electrical contractors undertaking design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical installations to BS 7671.
In terms of renewables, QHS are MCS accredited to survey, specify, supply and fit Battery Storage Systems. MCS certification is a mark of quality and demonstrates compliance to industry standards. It is supported by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy. MCS certification demonstrates the quality of products and competence of installers in the renewable technology sector.
QHS's Installation Assurance Authority Membership Number is: IAA10056 and MCS Installer Registration Number is: NIC600407. The scope of this certification for Battery Storage is MIS 3012: The Battery Standard (Installation). MCS certification covers low carbon installations and products used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources. In order to access Government grants and incentives all installations of renewable technologies must be carried out by an MCS Approved battery storage installation contractor like QHS.
