Established in 1995, QHS initially started out as professional accredited installers and maintainers of domestic and commercial gas central heating systems, but it was not long before they diversified into a full range of electrical installations, repairs, safety warning systems and condition reports, plus installing dual fuel SMART meters and Electric Vehicle Charge Points, along with other Green Technologies such as Air Source Heat Pumps, Battery Storage and Solar Photovoltaic Systems installtions.
QHS first became an Approved NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting) Contractor and Installer in 2006. This scheme is for electrical contractors undertaking design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical installations to BS 7671.
QHS have been providing electrical services to local authorities, housing associations and household utility companies for almost two decades, and are proud of their reputation founded on safety, successful partnerships, honesty, good quality work and exemplary levels of customer satisfaction.
In terms of renewables, QHS are MCS accredited to supply and fit Solar Photovoltaic Systems and Battery Storage Systems. MCS certification is a mark of quality and demonstrates compliance to industry standards. It is supported by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy. MCS certification demonstrates the quality of products and competence of installers in the renewable technology sector.
QHS's Installation Assurance Authority Membership Number is: IAA10056 and MCS Installer Registration Number is: NIC600407. The scope of this certification is: MIS 3002: Solar PV Installers and the Battery Storage scope is MIS 3012: The Battery Standard (Installation). MCS certification covers low carbon installations and products used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources. In order to access Government grants & incentives all installations of renewable technologies must be carried out by an MCS Approved Installation Contractor like QHS.
