Focus On QHS's Fleet & Asset Manager Glen "Van" Douglas

Glen joined QHS as it's Fleet & Assets Manager in October 2021, having been in the Automotive Industry for well over 40 years. Having lived and worked in the area ever since he was 4 years old, Glen left school at 15 and then preceded to carry out a 6-year indentured apprenticeship at R.E.Williams in Beaconsfield. He has worked at several prestige dealerships including Audi, BMW and Mini, as well as fulfilling a Senior Managers role at Hertz Car Rental here in the UK. Glen's previous positions for have included Body Shop Manager, Service Manager and Fleet Manager. These roles encompassed running service and body shop departments with an interactive involvement with customers.

Glen did not take long to get his feet well under the table at QHS, having already set up a new Fleet supplier, systematically changing over the existing vans to new vans with lower emissions, managing the utilisation of the entire Fleet of vehicles, which includes hybrid vans and 12 all-electric cars, as well as keeping a control on KPI's, vehicle tracking and costs. As an example, he has set up a new more economic fuel card supplier. He is a lifelong Leeds United supporter and has twice been elected as the Captain at Beaconsfield Artisans Golf Club. Glen is a very welcome addition to the QHS Team.

These vehicles form a small part of QHS's extensive vehicle fleet which includes All-Electric Cars and Hybrid Vans, as QHS is aiming to be Carbon Zero by 2025
