Senior QHS Staff Hosting Time For A Cuppa On Friday 6th May 2022

Sadly it is predicted that by 2025, over 1 million people in the United Kingdom will be living with Dementia, and almost everyone knows someone affected by this dreadful disease, whether it’s a family member or a friend.

Thanks entirely to the personal initiative of Senior QHS Managers Michaela White and Andrea Reed, they will be baking cakes and selling them to the rest of the staff at QHS's head offices in High Wycombe on Friday 6th May 2022 as running a "Time For A Cuppa" event to raise money for Dementia UK nurses.

Dementia UK  have specialist dementia nurses called "Admiral Nurses" who provide life-changing care for UK families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer's disease. Dementia UK's "Time For A Cuppa" Week runs from 1st to 8th May 2022, during which time thousands will be involved in raising crucial funds to help Dementia UK support existing Admiral Nurses and also develop more Admiral Nurses so no one has to face dementia aloneSharing a cup of tea and a slice of cake is always a good way to bring people together to raise money for charity, QHS staff will be helping more families receive the life-changing support of Dementia UK's specialist dementia nurses.
